Adrienne Gurman, Founder and CEO of Buzz Generation®, has maintained a leadership role in managing top-level client relationships, networking, and marketing communications for more than two decades. She has extensive copywriting and content-creation experience for live event and production companies, and international media outlets covering the entertainment lighting design industry.
After graduating from FIT with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing Communications, Adrienne began her career in the advertising sales department at the prestigious The New Yorker
magazine. In the years that followed, she developed strong ties in the lighting and entertainment design industries as International Sales Manager at Lighting Dimensions
magazine and Associate Publisher of Lighting & Sound America.
Growing up in New York City in a family of business-owners, Adrienne was born with entrepreneurship in her DNA. Throughout her career in advertising sales and publishing, the desire to own and nurture her own business never faded. In the summer of 2017, she launched Buzz Generation®, a New York City-based firm providing marketing and communications solutions to small, medium and large businesses. Her clients are an eclectic mix of custom manufacturers, artists, lighting designers, restaurant owners, retailers, health professionals and business consultants. She flourishes while working on an independent level to generate original ideas, but she’s at her best when collaborating with her clients to bring those concepts to fruition.
Adrienne is a well-known mental health advocate and former volunteer and blogger for Bring Change to Mind, BC2M, a non-profit organization co-founded by actress Glenn Close that provides a global forum for people to share their stories and promote acceptance of those affected by mental illness.
Always looking forward, Adrienne visualizes fresh and innovative techniques that can be applied to broad-reach marketing and digital platforms. It’s her mission to stay ahead of the curve, to the benefit of her clients, to expand and evolve in relation to the flow and development of emerging technologies. Learning and applying these technological advancements will be imperative to maintaining mind-share and maximizing creative endeavors as the needs of her clientele evolve.
